About the product
Championship Soccer is a classic Windows football simulation that combines a player career, full-team control and club management. Take over a single position—even goalkeeper—play as the entire team, or focus on transfers, tactics and building your club.
Developed in 2002/2003, the PC classic is available as a free unrestricted Pro full version. Only this original Pro Edition requires dgVoodoo2 on Windows 10 or 11. The technically renewed 2026 Windows x64 test builds do not require dgVoodoo2, but may still contain severe bugs. If the Pro Edition does not run reliably despite the compatibility setup, use the current 2026 build.

Original 2002/2003 Pro Edition
The Pro Edition is the classic full version. On Windows 10 or 11, it requires dgVoodoo2 after the game has been installed. If it still does not run reliably, use the current 2026 Windows x64 test build; it does not require dgVoodoo2.
Install the Pro Edition, then add dgVoodoo2
dgVoodoo2 is required for the original Pro Edition only. Install the game first, then copy the compatibility files into the existing program folder.
- Download the Pro Edition using the button below this notice and complete the installation.
- Download the latest stable dgVoodoo2 release and extract the ZIP archive.
- Copy all files from MS/x86 directly into the installed Championship Soccer program folder; the DLL files must be located directly in that folder.
- In the dgVoodoo2 control panel, disable mipmapping under DirectX and turn off the Voodoo watermark.
- Use 2× scaling to increase the native 800 × 600 resolution to 1600 × 1200.
