These terms govern use of playtesting.de. The provider is adrastea GmbH & Co. KG, Bielefelder Str. 5, 90425 Nürnberg, Germany. Contact: info@playtesting.de.

Account and participation

A portal account may be created only by an adult. This is confirmed once during registration. Existing accounts are not asked to confirm again. Account details must be accurate and login credentials must not be shared.

Registration and ordinary portal use are free. There is no entitlement to test access, a key, a particular build, publication or uninterrupted availability. Product-specific requirements are shown on the relevant product page.

Paid digital offers

Registration and ordinary portal use remain free. A separate paid digital offer applies only where the product, edition, currently available benefits, total price including taxes, technical requirements and order button are clearly identified before purchase. Product-specific terms linked from the offer also apply and take precedence for that purchase where their details differ.

Payment may be handled through Stripe and Link. Where the specific checkout identifies Link as Merchant of Record, Link performs the stated tasks concerning payment, receipts, indirect taxes, refunds and payment disputes. The seller and payment terms displayed immediately before the order carrying a payment obligation and in the confirmation are authoritative. The purchased digital edition and account-bound rights are supplied through playtesting.de to the extent stated in the offer.

Where digital content is requested before a withdrawal period expires, the legally required express consent and acknowledgement of the possible loss of the right of withdrawal are obtained separately. Mandatory rights concerning conformity, refunds and withdrawal remain unaffected. Founder and Supporter offers are also governed by the terms linked from the relevant offer page.

Your content and feedback

Users retain ownership of their content. By submitting it, they grant playtesting.de the non-exclusive rights needed to store, technically display, back up and moderate it. The clearly identified product team may use feedback to evaluate, fix and improve the relevant product. No rights in third-party material are transferred.

Only content and files for which the necessary rights exist may be submitted. Illegal content, malware, spam, deception, harassment, disclosure of another person’s personal data and infringement of copyright, trade marks or personality rights are prohibited. The portal rules also apply.

Tests, keys and confidentiality

Keys and non-public builds are purpose-bound and must not be sold, claimed repeatedly or shared without permission. Participation and confidentiality terms displayed on the product page must be followed. Security flaws, credentials and protected material should be sent privately to the product team or through Report content.

Moderation and termination

After review, content may be restricted, hidden or removed; accounts may be restricted or suspended for serious or repeated violations. Where contact details are available and no legal exception applies, we provide the material facts, basis, any automated assistance and the available review route. See DSA & moderation.

Users can erase their account in account settings. Mandatory statutory rights, including consumer rights, remain unaffected.

Availability and liability

We aim to operate the service securely and reliably, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that third-party products are error-free. Liability for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health follows statutory law. For slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to typically foreseeable damage; mandatory liability remains unaffected.
