Frequently asked questions about playtests and game testing
Find concise answers about the game directory, test access, profiles, ratings and contacting other participants.
Who can register?
Developers, testers and streamers can register with one account and enable multiple roles in parallel.
How do I find games to test?
Open the game directory and filter by platform, language, genre or access type. Each detail page shows the version, requirements and next available action.
Does it cost anything to join as a game tester?
Registration and use of the portal as a tester are free. Individual products may require technical prerequisites or external platform accounts.
When do I see a key?
Only after a request is accepted and the key is actively revealed. That keeps the start of the test traceable.
How do I express interest in a game?
You can save a product privately or notify the publisher of your interest. The publisher receives a notice without your email address being disclosed.
How does the tester score work?
Helpful, reliable feedback strengthens the public tester profile over time.
Can I rate and review a game?
Registered users can rate published products with stars and write a review in the selected language. The average rating and relevant recent reviews are displayed.
How can testers and publishers contact each other?
Testers can contact verified publishers through a product or public profile. Verified publishers can find suitable testers and creators. Messages are checked for spam and unauthorised links.
Are email addresses and private data public?
No. Public profiles only show information intended for publication. Email addresses and internal account data are not shown to other users.
Can I version downloads?
Yes. Downloads support versions, changelogs, files and optional screenshots.
How do I publish a game as a developer?
Enable the developer role, assign the product to an organisation and submit it for review with its description, media, platforms and test access.
