Current Windows x64 builds keep personal game data in the Windows Documents location rather than depending on write access to the installation folder.
Main location
Documents\My Games\Championship Soccer
This area contains career saves and the supported folders for replays, screenshots and custom data. Settings, diagnostics and other per-user state are also kept outside protected installation directories. Windows or OneDrive may redirect the actual Documents folder, so use the location Windows assigns to your account.
Practical update routine
• Back up important careers before installing a new test build.
• Download the complete build marked Newest release from the product page.
• Extract the complete ZIP rather than mixing selected program files into an older folder.
• Keep community football worlds in the Documents data locations described by the current manual.
• Retain an older test build only when you need it to reproduce a version-specific report; use the newest build for normal testing.
Current builds can create compact replay videos in the background for easy sharing. The option can be turned off, failed video export leaves the original replay intact, and no additional conversion program is required. Share only recordings and other material you have the right to publish.
The x64 branch remains a test, so compatibility with every future build cannot be promised. Current updates preserve recognised older saves and replays where possible, but a separate backup is still the safest choice.
