Privacy notice

This privacy notice explains how personal data is processed when using playtesting.de. The platform is built for developers, testers and creators and only processes data to the extent required for portal operation, account management, communication workflows and security measures.

Data we process

Depending on usage, we may process in particular:

• account data such as username, display name, email address, roles and preferred language
• profile data such as bio, website, genres, platforms, creator links and avatar
• portal content such as game entries, download descriptions, screenshots, feedback, comments and creator reports
• transaction data such as key requests, key assignments, key reveals, notifications and direct messages
• technical data such as IP address, session data, timestamps, browser information and security logs

Purposes of processing

Processing is carried out to provide the portal, verify accounts, run playtesting and creator workflows, deliver download files, prevent abuse, support moderation and maintain operational security and troubleshooting.

Emails and notifications

We send emails for account verification, password resets and important workflow changes. Internal notifications are stored so users can trace status changes for requests, keys, feedback and messages.

Uploads and sensitive data

Uploaded images, attachments and download files are validated, partially processed automatically and stored either publicly or in a protected area depending on file type. Key values are stored encrypted and are only shown to authorised users after an explicit reveal action.

Retention

Data is retained only for as long as needed for the relevant portal purpose, traceability of actions, legal obligations or legitimate interests. Some records may need to remain stored internally for moderation, security or documentation reasons even after an account is deactivated.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Requests can be sent to info@playtesting.de.
