Official guide: supported systems and compatibility

The official current Championship Soccer downloads are for Windows:

• Original Pro Edition: Windows x86. On Windows 10 or 11 it requires the documented dgVoodoo2 setup after installation.
• Current 2026 test branch: Windows x64. It does not require dgVoodoo2 or a prior classic installation.

There are no native official Android, Linux, Steam Deck or macOS downloads on the product page. Winlator and other compatibility-layer setups discussed by community members are unofficial workarounds. Results vary by device, and they are not guaranteed or supported as native builds.

Do not solve compatibility problems by downloading random executables, DLL archives or old direct build links. Start with the newest release on the official product page. If it fails, report the exact build, operating system, hardware or device, graphics adapter, input device, error text and the point at which it fails.

The 2026 x64 branch is a technical renewal of the classic game. It should not be confused with separate 3D development discussed elsewhere.
