I edited a league changed the team names in Data/League (also in "International teams and tournaments") and then changed the corresponding names in Data/Team but when i start a new career the names remain the same, i also created a new world in MyGames folder and tried this way but still the data won't change.
Thanks

Hi Bilbo,
this should actually work, and there are currently no known issues with editing the data files this way. Several people on our Discord are also using edited data files successfully.
In principle, you should set it up as described here:
https://championshipsoccer.net/manual/data-editing.html#first-dataset
I would recommend using the `DataSets/` method. Make sure that your dataset has its own folder and that it also contains a `Data/` subfolder, for example:
`DataSets/MyDataset/Data/...`
When you start a new career, your custom dataset should then appear as an option and you can select it there.
I'm not sure whether you're using the Classic (2D) version or the new 2026 (3D) version. The 2026 version also has its own integrated team editor now, although it's still somewhat experimental.
But editing the data files should work with both versions, and we're not currently aware of any technical issue that would prevent it from working.
Best regards,
Andreas
