Championship Soccer supports careers as an individual footballer, a full team, a player-manager or a manager. The selected role changes who you control on matchday.
Controlling the right player or team
• For full-team control, assign Control to the team in the squad setup.
• For an individual footballer, assign control through that player’s information in the squad.
• Being in the squad does not guarantee a place in the starting line-up or a substitution. The computer coach makes that decision when it manages the team.
• While your footballer is off the pitch, Page Up and Page Down adjust off-field match progression. There is no command that forces the coach to substitute your player immediately.
Finding a club
An unattached new or low-reputation player needs suitable clubs in the career database. Select enough countries and lower divisions when creating the career, then advance week by week and check the offers area. If no offer appears after many weeks despite suitable lower leagues, report the exact build and attach the save so the situation can be reproduced.
Practice and match problems
Current x64 updates are intended to start Practice with the player visible. Update to the newest build first if you see only empty grass. If it still happens, report the exact build, career type, selected football world and save instead of relying on an old workaround.
